CourtCorrect is proud to announce its new Artificial Intelligence Safety Policy

Following on from the UK's AI Safety Summit, CourtCorrect is proud to announce the launch of our new Artificial Intelligence Safety Policy this week. This policy aims to highlight the steps we take to ensure the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence at CourtCorrect.

The AI Safety Policy, developed by a team of AI experts and advisors at CourtCorrect, outlines a stringent framework for the deployment and management of AI systems. We are therefore proud to have formulated an AI Safety Policy, which enshrines our commitment to:

  • properly evaluate and test our models using scientific rigour and deep subject matter expertise,

  • educate and up-skill the public, our partners and our customers in their understanding and use of these new technologies,

  • constantly review the threat landscape for novel and emerging behaviour and more...

Ultimately, any new technology brings with it the potential for new risks, alongside the clear benefits it brings. As the AI Safety Summit 2023 has shown, regulation is still some way off, so it is up to firms themselves to decide on the correct course of action for AI. “Our AI Safety Policy is a reflection of our commitment to leading the way in always utilising AI for the social benefit, setting a standard for the industry.” said Ludwig Bull, CEO and Founder of CourtCorrect.

The policy details rigorous procedures for evaluating AI models, ensuring they operate fairly and accurately. Special emphasis is placed on mitigating racial bias and discrimination in AI datasets.

CourtCorrect’s AI Safety Policy also includes innovative collaboration strategies with clients to address historical biases in decision-making processes, ensuring that AI systems contribute to fairer outcomes.  By integrating this customer-provided historical data into our review processes, we ensure that our AI systems do not perpetuate past injustices but instead contribute to fairer and more equitable outcomes. This approach underlines our commitment to initiating concrete change from day one, ensuring that our AI solutions are part of a positive transformation towards greater justice and equality in decision-making.

CourtCorrect invites industry partners, legal professionals, and the public to review the AI Safety Policy on their website. The company remains committed to transparency and open dialogue on AI ethics and looks forward to contributing to a more equitable legal landscape through the responsible use of AI.
